I dont know much about history but i do know that Turks are still cosmopolitan and embrace/appropriate everybody and everything they like. I like to believe Persians are part turkish or otherwise. I like to believe Turks are part everything. I also know Persian is a very colourful and beautiful language and so are Persians themselves. I think people in heaven must look like Persian people:) I also know a lot of people from Turkish origin live in Iran. May God protect you all in a nation/ world blessed with good health and prosperity.<br />But yes, Rumi is above all Turkish for Turks, because Turkish is not an origin, it is a world view/a life style. And Rumi's view is adored by many, many Turks.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04568789435913655713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8512798575068184046.post-89018408499089324942017-05-21T05:05:47.917+12:002017-05-21T05:05:47.917+12:00Finally understood what sufism means through this ...Finally understood what sufism means through this documentary.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13009958609780952241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8512798575068184046.post-42189533521701681432016-04-17T04:38:47.675+12:002016-04-17T04:38:47.675+12:00VERY disappointing watching this movie.

Or how Darvish is a Persian word and Ney is a Persian instrument. The movie fails to cover Iran at all also not mentioning that the biggest Sufi population is actually in Iran and some of the most beautiful mystical Sufi music comes from Iran given Rumi's poems are Persian. If you can't film in Iran, the least you could have done is to showcase the music or mention it.Farnazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00648625425700218792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8512798575068184046.post-30210029097400245912015-05-31T21:33:52.734+12:002015-05-31T21:33:52.734+12:00Watched the documentary after reading this great p...Watched the documentary after reading this great piece... and I am really glad that I did!Murtaza Ali Khanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09747183316188241022noreply@blogger.com
